How 复习 is written

Stroke order matters: it sets the proportions of the character and how a reader will parse it. In the trainer these same boxes reject a stroke drawn out of turn.

复 — 9 strokes, in writing order from left to right.
习 — 3 strokes, in writing order from left to right.
